If you have arrived at this site because you found one of our Geode Cache Treasure/Token Hunt rock/tokens, Congratulations - you are indeed a winner! However, you will need to redeem your rock/token at the Rockhounds Dream Show on Sept. 21st or 22nd, 2024 to find out if you are the Geode Cache Treasure/Token Hunt Grand Prize winner in addition to winning free admission for two. (The Geode Cache Treasure/Token Hunt Grand Prize is independent of and not to be confused with the First, Second and Third Place Drawing prizes for the ticketed drawings held during the show.)
The Hunt Has Begun! Six Geode Cache Token/Treasure Hunt Rock/Tokens have been or will be hidden/placed. (See photo to the right for example. Hint - they are not buried - there is no need to dig but you may need to look around.) See the interactive map below for more information and to narrow your search - the star indicates the location. Green tokens have not been scanned and are presumed to be unfound). Red tokens have been scanned and are presumed found.

Six Geode Cache QR Coded Tokens have been or are being deposited in southeast Michigan. Five of the tokens can be exchanged for FREE ADMISSION for two people to the 2024 Rockhounds Dream Show on September 21st or 22nd. 1 special token can be exchanged for FREE ADMISSION for two people to the 2024 Rockhounds Dream Show on September 21st or 22nd and the individual that redeems that token will receive a special Geode Cache Grand Prize that can be claimed at the show!
Rules:
#1) Original /scannable/legible intact Token must presented/surrendered to win.
#1.1) No Copies, duplicates, photos or other representations will be allowed.
#1.2) Originality of tokens will be determined by show/Geode Cache Treasure/Token Hunt administrators.
#2) Token is only valid for Rockhounds Dream Show Only on September 21st or 22nd, 2024.
#3) Token holders agree to abide by the Geode Cache Token Hunt Rules and hold LGMS harmless.
#4) Livingston Gem and Mineral Society (LGMS) members and immediate family are ineligible for the Geode Cache Treasure hunt.
#5) Only one token may be redeemed per family.
#6) The Grand Prize Winner will be identified only upon scanning and verification of the Token at the show.
#7) LGMS reserves the right to provide token holders with an alternate prize of approximate equal value as determined by the show administrators in the event of a problem.
#8) If the Geode Cache Treasure/Token Hunt Grand Prize Token is not redeemed before the last 10 minutes of the show, a winner will drawn from among those that redeemed tokens and entered the second chance drawing.
This is intended to be a fun, safe, family friendly activity.
The Livingston Gem and Mineral Society (LGMS) will honor the tokens in good faith barring any acts of nature or other unplanned circumstances that may result in cancellation or rescheduling.
The locations given are a very near approximate location. LGMS can not control movement of the tokens due to acts or nature, animals or human activity.
No one should ever search in an unsafe manner or enter or approach any area that may seem dangerous or that may place themself in harms way.
No tokens will require any digging or damage of any surrounding property in anyway.
LGMS will try to keep the map as up to date as possible, however there may be a delay between the time a token is found and when the map may be updated.
